First, there was art: hands-on, messy, old-school creativity...
Then—there was “commercial design”. Working as a Junior Designer and Production Artist in one of Vancouver’s oldest print shops, just as it stepped into the digital world, taught me the details of my craft. Then there was 15 years of “big agency” design work in the city, followed by more than a decade of moving purpose-driven entrepreneurs forward in their vision and business in my own boutique branding agency, Brand-HER.
Throughout, the driver of my work has been deep collaboration with clients to craft clear and emotionally powerful brands and visual communications. I deep-dive into a process of creative exploration I've crafted and honed over a decade. Clients know that working with me means intuition’s a companion on our journey, and it can sometimes take us to unexpected places—but that a high level of organization and attention to detail are also along for the ride.
